世界報道写真展2014

昼過ぎから、恵比寿の東京都写真美術館で8月3日まで開催中の「世界報道写真展」をtamiと揃って観にいってきた。
毎年この写真展は欠かさず観にいっているが、ひとつひとつの作品が訴えかけてくるドラマは、戦争、災害、差別、貧困、環境破壊、自然、極限など、いつまでたっても解決しないままのこの「おなじ時代、おなじ空の下に」繰り広げられている問題を私たちに訴えかけている。来年からは会場が池袋の東京芸術劇場に変わるそうです。(hide)

梅雨明けはまだ？

なんだか尻すぼみで熱帯性低気圧に変身してしまった台風8号が過ぎ去った今朝から、真夏の太陽がギラギラと照りつける一日に。梅雨明け宣言が出るかと思って気象庁のサイトを見ると梅雨明けしているのは沖縄だけで、関東地方はまだ10日も先になるようだ。
こんなに良い天気の日は、アウトドアランチに限る！という訳でRoyalGardenCafeのテラスに行ったら、客は誰もいない。あまりの猛暑で皆さん室内を選ばれるようだ。

今日のパスタランチは貝柱のアーリオオーリオ。先日のブラウンソースパスタよりはずっと味が良い。そしてバスケット一杯のフォカッチャが嬉しい。試しにお替わりをしてみると、何度でも良いですよ！と言われるが、さすがに満腹になってしまう。ご馳走さま！
6時過ぎには空が真っ暗になり厚い雲の間から、土砂降りの雨が降り始めた。雨は短時間で走り過ぎたが、やっぱり梅雨明けはまだ先のようだ。(hide)

DESIGN TOKYO 2014

ビッグサイトで昨日から明日までの3日間開かれているDESIGN TOKYO 2014を視察に行った。併催展にテーブルウェアEXPO、キッチンウェアEXPO、ベビー＆キッズEXPO、ファッション雑貨EXPO、Health&Beauty EXPO、雑貨EXPO、文具紙製品ISOTの8つの展示会が東館で開かれていたが，夕方から打合せが入っていたので DESIGN TOKYO、テーブルウェアEXPOとキッチンウェアEXPOの展示会だけを見て回った。
基本的には雑貨見本市で興味ない商品も数多くあったが、中には面白いものもいくつかあった。
DESIGN TOKYO（東京デザイン製品展）では水生活製作所という水栓金具をはじめとする商品展開をしているメーカーが面白かった。もともと早川バルブというバルブメーカーだったが2年前に現社名に社名変更した会社だ。
デザイナー達の展示ブースPROTO LABでは尼崎のデザイン企業DelightLaboの出展した錫を使ったキッチン用品が面白かった。代表の金指氏と作品のショット。
キッチンツールでは，いろいろなキッチンツールを輸入販売する「有限会社河西」のブースが面白かった。ユーロキッチンというネットショップを運営しているが、この中でもドイツベルナー社のVスライサーが面白い。
他に照明器具の輸入販売を手がけるelux社のザハハディッドデザインのプラスティックシャンデリアが美しい。(hide)

I went to visit the DESIGN TOKYO 2014 which is open three days from yesterday to tomorrow in the big site. Exhibition of eight tableware EXPO, kitchenware EXPO, Baby & Kids EXPO, fashion accessories EXPO, Health & Beauty EXPO, miscellaneous goods EXPO, stationery paper products ISOT has been opened in the East Building in Joint Exhibition, but the meeting is not on the evening I was looking around the only exhibition of kitchenware EXPO DESIGN TOKYO, and tableware EXPO since.

There were also many items not interested in the goods trade fair in principle, but there were some interesting items in.
Booth that is product development, including faucet water equipment that life Seisakusho was interesting in DESIGN TOKYO Tokyo Design Products Fair. It was a valve manufacturer Hayakawa valve originally but a company that changed its name to the present name two years ago.
Kitchenware using tin exhibit design company DelightLabo of Amagasaki was interesting in the exhibition booth of PROTO LAB designers. Shot and works of Mr. Gold finger representative.

In the kitchen tools, booth importing and selling a variety of kitchen tools of "limited company Hexi" was interesting. It operates a net shop called Euro kitchen but, V slicer of Germany Werner's interesting among these.
